Hi, I’m Doing This

Hi, I’m Monty. Glad to meet you.

I’m 49 years old and one of my primary goals before I reached 50 was to get rid of my “dad bod”. And, I did it!

I know the whole “dad bod” thing is kind of a running joke…many guys have it…supposedly some women find it sexy…whatever!

I hated it. I got so tired of waking up every morning feeling tired and with aches in a new part of my body. So I decided that before I turned 50 I was going to get in shape and gain my health back.

This blog is what I learned and how I achieved success.

Hope you enjoy it!

  1. Perfect timing coming across your blog, Monty! Sounds like we are on the same path. I’ll be turning 50 in October and realize that I am not 100% happy with my weight and energy levels as I enter this important next chapter of my life. I am making major changes in my lifestyle and it looks like your blog will help me on this journey. Thanks for checking out my blog and of course, thanks for the follow. Onward and upward!

  3. Good for you Monty. Too many people in general thinks it’s ok to let it go when they reach 40s and 50s. You know what? We are still young enough to be whatever we want to be. We can still be set and awesome or if you are happy being a little soft and exercising less, that’s okay to be happy in yourself. Personally I love being fit and always have done. Keep up the brilliant work👍👍👍👍
